I’ve navigated many worlds and experiences throughout my life, but my inner journey has always been on the path of a healer. Born and raised as a Hindu in a newly independent India, I studied Psychology and English Studies and developed a deep interest in spirituality, emotional well-being, education, and science. When I married and immigrated to the US in the 1970s, teaching jobs were scarce, so I pivoted to make ends meet. I studied Accounting and Computer Science and enjoyed a successful career in Fortune 500 companies while raising two wonderful boys.
I kept reading and learning from spiritual healers and seekers – Edgar Cayce, Shirley Maclaine, Ruth Montgomery, and Brian Weiss, to name a few. As I deepened my understanding of healing traditions, I also realized that I had become an informal healer for many in my own life – friends, family, and acquaintances often came to me in difficult times for compassionate and candid advice, counseling, and healing.
I decided to honor and follow this inner journey more intentionally. So after twenty years in a corporate career, I left my job, pursued an M.S.Ed in Counseling, and became a counselor and assistant principal at public high schools in the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan, NY, where I had the joy of helping wonderful students work through their emotional roadblocks and pursue their dreams. I also taught courses in Psychology and Sociology as an Adjunct Professor at a local college in Westchester, NY. It was a wonderful learning experience for me to teach students in a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation facility. Since retiring, I’ve devoted myself even more to learning healing traditions and methods, including Akashic Records. And they’ve helped me navigate stress and sadness in my life, including the loss of my husband, who passed away in 2022.
Through Akashic Records and other healing methods, I’ve worked to connect with my higher self, understand and let go of old issues that no longer serve me, transcend karma, and see things from a higher perspective. I am learning to love more, laugh harder and not take things personally. Connect with the beauty in others, not judge, and live in joy instead of fear. To experience grief and sorrow but not succumb to it. And to live in a state of higher consciousness, self-love, and bliss. Whether you’re experiencing relationship problems, navigating financial stress, or grieving and recovering from loss, I hope to help you do the same through Akashic Records and Personalized Akashic Healing and Therapy.
