About Veena
VEENA MANCHANDA M.A., M.S., CERTIFIED LIFE & HEALTH COACH
I have always felt most impactful when bringing comfort to people and helping them through life’s ups and downs. That’s what led me to a successful career as a Guidance Counselor/Assistant Principal in inner-city public schools and as an Adjunct Professor in Psychology. I loved the work, especially teaching students at a Substance Rehabilitation Program.
Then, in 2017, having recovered from a serious cardiac condition, which hit me out of the blue, I realized the importance of addressing the root cause of a disease and lifestyle choices: nutrition, exercise, sleep, rest & relaxation, and connections. I became a certified Functional Medicine Health & Wellness Coach and not only fully recovered my own illness but have now connected to my true passion of helping others achieve well-being. I am passionate about bringing mindfulness and awareness to make better lifestyle choices that lead to holistic wellness.
Outside of work, I am happily married, the proud mother of two sons and two daughters-in-law, all of whom work in healthcare. I am also blessed with four adorable grandchildren. I love to spend time with my extended family and friends. I am a life-long learner and enjoy cooking, gardening, renovating, reading, traveling, painting, and knitting.
I look forward to getting to know you and helping you on your own pathway to thrive with my approach of purpose-driven functional medicine coaching.
